Updates for period ending 4th February, 2010
The Trainz Resources Directory is one year old! To celebrate our first birthday, we've given the site a face lift and added several new features.
The most obvious change is a new logo and colour scheme. Other changes include a section called the History of Trainz, where we're hoping to document an accurate history and eventually list every Trainz version. It's early days yet, but we've managed to locate some 80 versions and give a little bit of information about each one. This is actually the work of Charlie Lear and a group of friends, but Charlie has allowed us to include it here so that members of the community can add their comments.

That leads us to the next major upgrade. We've included a Comments section so that you can add comments to any of the 1,000 plus listings. Please only post comments when you think they will help future visitors. Waffle and spam won't be tolerated so if you don't abuse the system, it will be of great benefit to us all.
We've also changed the way our Contributors are listed, but that's more to do with reducing the size of the database and making our administrative work a lot easier.
Finally, we've added a listing count to each Category. That may help you realise how much is actually available on the site.
I keep saying it, but this latest update is the largest single update since the TRD started. Almost 200 new listings have been included as well as all the changes above.
The Newsletter is currently in limbo, but I expect to make a significant announcement about that in a few days.
With so many new things happening, it's impossible for me to document them all here. Please keep your eyes peeled for future announcements.
